The Whole Armor of God

And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left. Then you will defile your carved idols overlaid with silver and your gold-plated metal images. You will scatter them as unclean things. You will say to them, "Be gone!""

These things have to be shared, discussed, exposed.. and stopped.    God hears their cries.

Well the devil is actually THAT evil indeed but a lot of what we see today is only a product of the evils and Satan's deceptions of yesterday.   And, we can even parallel the destruction of those past civilizations to the evils they practiced.

 

 

"Secular Religion" -

Reading a recent article on Christian persecution in the Scotland school system, I realize that as Christians, we have to continue the campaign defining exactly what a religion is. I believe it'll be a cold day in Hell before the govt. labels secularism as an actual religion - although it is. There are no faith-based beliefs that aren't inherently religious. If you need to apply faith in order to believe it, it's a religion. As with Buddhists, you don't need a god for it to be a religion, you are your own god; and so it is with atheism.

We need to continue to expose that atheism is as much a religion of faith as Christianity. But then there are many who are secular and don't call themselves atheists but yet think they believe in Darwinian evolution.

People time and time again, scoff and make fun of faith-based religions (particularly Christianity); But yet they go on thinking that they've been given the PROOF of Darwinian evolution to explain life on earth but they haven't. All the average person knows about the theory of evolution are the few high school text book examples with charts and diagrams of a monkey transforming into a man as well as studies done in the Galapagos Islands, from old Carl Sagan programs, etc.

And if they want to further hammer down what they think they believe, they'll go to their neighborhood science museum only to find short videos narrated by people with British accents, and a few creative stuffed maniccans, etc. But zero real evidence.

But continuing the campaign of teaching people that secularism is in itself a religion could ease some tension on the growing secular abuse in the schools against creationism by educating people. Secularists are now targeting private schools that'll teach creationism to their kids and soon, they'll barge into people's homes and confiscate their books and Bibles just like that one family from Germany who had to flee to the states because they wanted to home-school their kids.  

As long as we continue to have militant Christian haters saying that it's child abuse to teach your kids about God, these things will continue getting worst. Unfortunately, the govt. has a growing track record of siding with these secular groups every time they want to say the separation of church and state has been violated.

The Obama Administration has even placed a militant Christian-hater, Mike Weinstein as an advisor for "religious freedom".   That's like leaving a wolf to supervise the sheep while the shepherd is on a lunch break.

One can't prove God doesn't exist and one can't prove evolution then how is it NOT a religion? It's faith-based just like the belief in God.

Without proof, they claim there is no God and w/out proof they claim the world created itself, etc. That takes a whole lot of faith to believe, especially when you can't even say "God did it"! At least Christians base their faith in the Biblical principle that Jesus taught when he said to His disciples, "Happy are those who can't see what you see but yet still believe"., and "We live by faith, not by sight" - 2 Corinthians 5:7.

But what's the excuse of the secularist? On what foundation have they concluded that NO evidence is the foundation of their belief system if after all, there's no proof or even a good argument to support Darwinian evolution.

The Christian position on school curriculum has never been to omit the VARIOUS views in the sciences, religions, etc. But there indeed exists a hostility to even mention anything remotely associated with God. Why so much fear, hate and hostility? There's a reason for that also.

　

"The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse

Bill O'Rielly's "Spin on Religion"-

Bill takes on the same stale and lame non-believer arguments proving that he doesn't know anything about Orthodox Christian doctrines:

-"What if a person doesn't know who Jesus Christ is?"

First of all, WHO and what group of people hasn't heard of Jesus Christ OR Christianity?
That's the first rebuttal I would have asked Mr. O'Rielly. What "people in history" is Bill referring to?

- O'Rielly throws Graham a monkey wrench to divert the subject on God manifesting Himself to mankind by saying that God will reveal Himself "in some way" depending on some external manifestation as "proof".

Then O'Rielly goes into the issue of all the "Good" people who die completely showing his ignorance of the Godly standard of what "Good" is;  again, clearly spoken by Christ in Luke 18:19.

Mr. O'Riely stands firm and stern on what he can "imagine" or accept regarding God's sovereignty; Just like many who in their arrogance and pride make themselves out to be their own God by setting their own standards.

And then he closes his comments appealing to human logic just like the Greeks did in the Apostle Paul's day.

He says he has faith in a "just god". Sadly, He's that god... but he's far from just.

Bill asks Mr. Graham that if "innocent" people don't believe in Christ because of what their parents believe, or because Jesus didn't reveal Himself to them or they didn't know about him ... " I can't imagine that they're damned".

Who is innocent in God's eyes Mr. O'Riely?

And he answered them, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."

Halloween: (definition)

the evening of October 31; the eve of All Saints' Day; "All-hallows Eve": observed especially by children in costumes who solicit treats, often by threatening minor pranks.

　

 "Hallowed" from where we get the word Halloween.   Here's a familiar Biblical use for the word "hallowed" :

　

"And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven... ".

Christians decide how you will represent yourselves and your families on this day which has its origins in absolute paganism and evil.   In a world already filled with malice, evil and hate, decide how you'll represent Christ (being ambassadors of Chirst, Salt and Light) on the earth; within your neighborhoods, etc.

　

I for one like the idea of taking a traditional holiday and converting evil for good by keeping it "innocent" in the way I practice it in my home... BUT ...

I will not attend a Halloween party, parade or event where I have no control over my enviornment, and where I'll be around people of poor Godly conscience. There is nothing innocent with the flirtation of evil or acting "naughty" by parading evil in a so-called "fun" way. There's no such thing as "lightening up" on evil, witchcraft, demonology, and exaggerated free sexual expressions in public.

　

We not only have to change the name of this holiday, (because there's nothing holy about it), we also need to perge all of the evil associated with it.

Can we do that?   That's a debate for another day. :)

Romans Chapter 9:
I am speaking the truth in Christ—I am not lying; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit— that I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh. They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises. But it is not as though the word of God has failed. Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory— even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles?

As indeed he says in Hosea, "Those who were not my people I will call ‘my people,’ and her who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved.’" "And in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’" And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: "Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved, for the Lord will carry out his sentence upon the earth fully and without delay." And as Isaiah predicted, "If the Lord of hosts had not left us offspring, we would have been like Sodom and become like Gomorrah."

What shall we say, then? That Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith; but that Israel who pursued a law that would lead to righteousness did not succeed in reaching that law. Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone, as it is written, "Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame."

Pope Francis - "Who am I to judge"?

Pope Francis... "Who am I to judge"?

He should have instead said.. "What do I know about sin"?

Because if you know what sin is and still won't call it what it is.. then one is approving of that sin by denying its existence.   And even more so, if one is in the position of teaching or ministering God's Truth, one has ever more reason to judge sin.

WE ALL have a right to judge sin up against a Godly standard. We have a right to speak out against it and to enforce it among our children for the sake of their future and the future of society, etc. We have a right to expose it and cut it off at the root if necessary, etc.

So the Pope won't judge because he isn't denying the knowledge of the sin of homosexuality but because he refuses to speak out against it. It's a cowardly and politically motivated move.

And in his silence, he gives harty approval to the sin of homsexuality which by doing so, IS SIN.

So Pope Francis, who's reputation for being so humble (and the world is eating it all up), should humble himself to this truth.

The Pope has also stated that non believers are Heaven bound if they do good works and are themselves, good people, etc. Which is radically different than what the Bible teaches. This is the highest form of heresy.

The Pope, who is supposed to be "The Vicar of Christ" has just Crucified Jesus - for nothing.

But then we know that the religion of men will ALWAYS have an unstable and inconsistant foundation so that it changes as the culture changes. But God's TRUE Word never changes... His standards never change. Men are worshippers of men and worshippers of traditions but God's Truth frees men from the slavery of this idolatry.

Seperate yourselves from the deception of religions and traditions of men, and follow CHRIST, and CHRIST ALONE.

We're not here to make friends! We're here to pull people out of the fire and there's no time for people to experience a long life of your good works. (Ditch the "Friendship" Evangelism)

“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household. Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. True belief generates action. If you believed your ceiling was about to cave-in while you were home watching TV, you would act on this belief and jet out of the living room to save yourself from a serious headache.

"The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead." - Acts 17:30-31

Yes, I said it... "Judgment is coming"! 
 
Most believers have read that God's Word "will not come back void" and that it'll do what it's set out to accomplish (Isaiah 55:11).

But how many people consider that the Word can either become a seed unto salvation for the person who heeds it as well as a nail in the coffin of the person who rejects it?   Every time the Word is proclaimed, something powerful and spiritual is happening in the life of the listener.   That's how powerful God's Word is.

"Heaven and earth shall pass away but behold my Words will never pass away"-
Matt. 24:35, Mark 13:31, and Luke 21:33. 

All 3 writers quoted this important Truth.

"The wicked shall return to Sheol, all the nations that forget God". - Psalm 9:17

So if you're obedient to God's Word, and abide in God's will, you will warn people; no matter what it takes, and spread the COMPLETE Gospel of Truth, SIN, GOD'S LAW, HELL, REPENTANCE, SALVATION, HOPE AND LOVE. 
 


When we're more concerned with not offending people, in essence, we're not loving people but loving ourselves, being selfish, and actively being ashamed of the full Gospel of Christ. 

We're also MISLEADING people  - and that is sin.

... and it's very easy to deny those things we're ashamed of.





"And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town. Truly, I say to you, it will be more bearable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town. So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven". - Matt. 10

More and more people join the crowd as they push me towards the home of the village headman. I recognize the house — it’s the only one that has a garden with grass growing in it. They throw me to the ground. The village imam speaks to me: “I’ve been told you’ve insulted our Prophet. You know what happens to anyone who attacks the holy Prophet Mohammed. You can redeem yourself only by conversion or death.”
“I haven’t done anything! Please! I beg you! I’ve done nothing wrong!”
The qari with his long, well-combed beard, turns to Musarat and the three women who were there on the day of the falsa harvest.

“Did she speak ill of Muslims and our holy Prophet Mohammed?”
“Yes, she insulted them,” replies Musarat, and the others join in:
“It’s true, she insulted our religion.”
“If you don’t want to die,” says the young mullah, “you must convert to Islam. Are you willing to redeem yourself by becoming a good Muslim?”
Sobbing, I reply:
“No, I don’t want to change my religion. But please believe me, I didn’t do what these women say, I didn’t insult your religion. Please have mercy on me.”
I put my hands together and plead with him. But he is unmoved.
“You’re lying! Everyone says you committed this blasphemy and that’s proof enough. Christians must comply with the law of Pakistan, which forbids any derogatory remarks about the holy Prophet. Since you won’t convert and the Prophet cannot defend himself, we shall avenge him.”
He turns on his heel and the angry crowd falls on me. I’m beaten with sticks and spat at. I think I’m going to die. Then they ask me again:
“Will you convert to a religion worthy of the name?”
“No, please, I’m a Christian, but I beg you . . . ”
And they go on beating me with the same fury as before.
I was barely conscious and could hardly feel the pain of my wounds by the time the police arrived. Two policemen threw me in their van, to cheers from the angry crowd, and a few minutes later I was in the police station in Nankana Sahib.
In the police chief’s office they sat me down on a bench. I asked for water and compresses for the wounds on my legs, which were streaming with blood. A young policeman threw me an old dishcloth and spat out at me:
“Here, and don’t get it everywhere.”
One of my arms really hurt and I thought it might be broken. Just then I saw the qari come in with Musarat and her gang. With me sitting there they told the police chief that I insulted the Prophet Mohammed. From outside the police station I could hear shouts:
“Death to the Christian!”
After writing up the report the policeman turned and called to me in a nasty voice:
“So what have you got to say for yourself?”
“I’m innocent! It’s not true! I didn’t insult the Prophet!”
Immediately after I’d protested my innocence I was manhandled into the police van and driven away. During the journey I passed out from pain and only came back to myself as we were arriving at Sheikhupura prison, where I was thrown into a cell.
Since that day I haven’t left prison.

"Prove to be disciples"...

Book of John Chapt. 15

 

"I am the  true vine, and my Father is   the vinedresser.    Every branch in me that does not bear fruit  he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes,  that it may bear more fruit.    Already  you are clean  because of the word that I have spoken to you.    Abide  in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.    I am the vine;  you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that  bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.    If anyone does not abide in me  he is thrown away like a branch and withers;  and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned.    If  you abide in me, and my words abide in you,  ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.    By this my Father is glorified, that you  bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.

Let us examine ourselves to make sure we're truly in the faith.

The proof that we're disciples of Christ is that we are GROWING in the faith and that growth is proven by the producing of spiritual "fruit" within our lives.   Are we baring spiritual fruit?  Are we growing in love, patience, long-suffering, love of The Lord, hungering and thirsting more and more for that which is holy and righteous, forgiveness, etc.   Are we embracing and hungering more and more for God's Word, His guidance, knowledge and wisdom through His Word?...    Let us "examine ourselves".

Also, the hunger for Truth should likewise extend to those around us who are NOT in the faith. We should be growing hungrier and hungrier to proclaim God's Truth.  Therefore, in the fruit of obedience to God's command (2 Tim. 4:2), (Acts 8:4), Mark 16:15), we should be hungry for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all creation.

**Despite what many Christians believe, the sharing of the gospel isn't always effectively manifested through an examination of a person's life but instead through the old fashioned practice of verbal communication.  In other words, ..... we have to open our mouths and whiteness to people!


Pray about it, strengthen yourself in God's Word, and  go proclaim the Gospel!

TOO MUCH LOVE PREACHING:

Be suspicious of preachers who spend a lot more time preaching on how much God loves you and not enough time on repentance.   Many people believe that preaching too much on repentance, hell, judgment, the rapture, end time events, etc. is divisive.   But the biggest divide is what will happen on the last day when Christ says He'll separate the "sheep from the goats".

Most prosperity gospel preaching and "motivational" preaching have a lot of exposure on TV exactly because they preach more on "what people want to hear" but it's a snare to those who concentrate most of their time desiring material things and people who need to feel how wonderful they are.

The Truth is that if we've repented and dedicated our lives to God through Christ,  it's time to spread the "whole" good news of the gospel as Christ mandates.  

 Jesus said -  

 "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." Mark 16:15.

He didn't say "accept me and then live your Christian life by putting it on a shelf for people to see, and desire so much that people will want to be like you"; - Which is what all too many people believe (I did also).    Because there are so many Christian converts who treat their "eternal life" relationship with Christ like it's a fuzzy rabbit's foot in their pocket to take out whenever they need Him.  

Most of us are victims of faulty evangelicalism in one way or another.    But it's high time that we delve into the Word of God and truly live to represent Christ on earth.  

With the culture dipping ever so fast into immorality, we need to stand firm within our Christian convictions because the times are without question pushing and pressing Godly consciousness to the wall.   Today people only think that it's their decision to keep those convictions on the shelf, but in truth, the reason they have them up there in the first place is because the culture is pressing on us every day more and more; and people just don't see it. 

Censorship of Biblical truths is already here, and the pressing continues daily.

"Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, dear friends!" -  (The Apostle Paul) Philippians 4:1

Therefore, we must preach the full gospel.   God is indeed good, merciful and forgiving but that is only regarded towards people who first REPENT of their sins that separate them from Him.  

"Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." - Matt. 18:3

"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out.." - Acts 3:19

God is also a God of justice and righteousness.   And sort of like any human judge that we would expect to apply sound judgment and not let evil slip through, even more so, God's judgments are true.

"I will pronounce my judgments on my people because of their wickedness in forsaking me, in burning incense to other gods and in worshiping what their hands have made."-  Jeremiah 1:16

"For it is time for judgment to begin with God's household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? - 1 Peter 4:17

God is Love, peace, mercy and goodness but He is also Justice, Truth and Holy.  
Spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in whole Truth.   He calls all humans to repent (turn from and despise sin), deny self and seek Him and the Kingdom of God FIRST above all things.   Be suspicious of any message or preaching that does NOT preach the full gospel of the Lord.

He says if we seek Him with all our hearts, we WILL find Him,  If we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us.   "Knock and the door will be open to you".    His message is clear.

The hatred from government on the Christian faith is so obvious of hate when the reasoning for all these attacks, restrictions and censorship is so vague.

It all depends on what we're willing to BELIEVE in.

The Child-Free Life:

Oh how Satan hates us!  He doesn't want us to reproduce.  He wants to stifle our numbers as so plainly demonstrated by the millions of murdered unborn in our country and around the world.  By the proliferation of homosexuality and same-sex unions so as to reduce procreation.

And another one of his evil schemes is by continuing to convince our modern culture that the height of personal fulfillment in ones life can only be attained by not having children.

Those that argue that "children aren't for everyone" have a good point.  But that argument has always been reserved for people who have impediments to fulfilling their responsibilities of being a good parent, not for the sake of directly pushing aside the calling and societal importance of parenthood to replace it with the sole pursuit of pleasure and selfishness.    That mentality has always been frowned upon... but not today!


And this is the mentality being pushed today in our society.   For people who are already adults, have grown children, and just plainly disagree with this evil suggestion of hedonism, we're not all that affected by this trend.   But for our youth today, this rising mentality in the mainstream of society can have a huge impact. 


Procreation is one of the mandates of God found in the Bible. Unless there are biological impediments to growing a family, there is but one mentality against having children and that is one of self-worship and putting the material in the place of God which is idolatry.
 

In the case of abortion, the message being sent is that we are God and we can do whatever we want with our bodies by murdering our own children.   The message being sent to our youth with "A child free Life" is that children are a nuisance and thus you'll ruin your life by having kids.

This message is everywhere in our TV/Cable sitcoms, comedy skits, media, etc.
Most of the coverage of "family" in the media today are to highlight dysfunction and disorder, etc. 

Lets pray for our youth who are the targets of evil every single day.

Ariel Castro: " I'm not a monster "!

The Bible teaches that we're all sinners and surely, God's Holy Spirit in the world restrains the world from monsters like Ariel Castro taking over.  But he's an example of what the world look like if God's restraining power wouldn't be on earth as well as Hitler, Stalin, Dhamer, Gasey, etc.

People who do not understand or refuse to accept the Biblical doctrine of forgiveness and salvation have a hard time even hearing that God's saving grace can extend to people like these.   But this forgiveness is something that will always be underestimated even by the most devout believers.

The Bible states that "Salvation is of the Lord" and that only by the Holy Spirit can a life be transformed and regenerated.   So it takes a lot more than pity, remorse, regret or tears to be forgiven by God.  And only God knows the heart of man.  As humans we only think we know what's within our own hearts but the Bible states  "The heart is evil and desperately wicked, who can know it".   Only God can know what is in a human heart.

People often stumble at the account of the "thief on the cross" when they read that Christ forgave him but the miraculous power of the Holy Spirit was at work at that moment, and far be it from us to exactly understand how that heart was transformed.     It's a miracle of God just like the miracle of birth, conversion or even the creation of the world.

How sad.  The demons are having a field day in the island formally thought of as a paradise of beauty.  But today, it's rotting from the core unto it's surface.   The youth, the culture, the people... dying and being killed left and right.   I don't believe for a minute our govt. is impotent in doing anything about this in PR or anywhere else. 

But drugs is a demon unleashed on the world and consuming the world from the high school boy smoking pot in his room to the govt. official on the down-low.    God have mercy on us.

Pep-talk or Truth, which would you have?

The Bible is clear that outside of Christ, in our own human nature, and without Him, we are nothing, and we can do nothing.   We're "unprofitable for any good work" until we are called and saved by His grace.    But people continue to give pep-talk of a supposed human strength and inner "goodness" that humans have within us, and this is another lie from the pit of hell.

The Bible states that if there is ANY boasting to be done, let it be done only in Christ's work but not in our own human strength or self worth.

Humans are in need of salvation.  We are in need to "deny" and humble ourselves every day.   Before Christ we are defeated and in need of a savior.   We don't have any power or strength to do ANY good outside of Christ.  

Quite the contrary to this, is the pep-talk that teaches people that there is a human power of goodness within us that we can elevate, tap into or acknowledge.

People who get trapped into this thinking have a problem understanding God's holiness and what "Good" really is.  They fall for the temptation of self-pride which is what brought Lucifer down from glory.  It's the oldest sin in the book.   

The Christian message is about humility and self-sacrifice; being last in order to be first; goodness through Christ and denying self, etc.  But it can never be accomplished through our own strength or inner-power unless we're okay with handing down what Christ called "Filthy rags"!  


So lets leave the pep-talk of "inner-power" and "inner-goodness" for Joel Osteen and Oprah. As Christians, lets abide in Christ and His Word so we can understand true goodness and true power through Christ and Christ alone.    Any pep-talk or message that fails to acknowledge or mention the work of the Holy Spirit in empowering and regenerating us is lifting human power and potential above God, and it's blasphemy.

An open-air evangelist, Tony Miano was arrested in London for breaking a law instituted in the UK that supposedly prevents people groups from being offended by public speech that is likely to cause distress.  In this case, that people group is homosexuals and Miano was simply asserting his faith in God and that the Bible condemns homosexuality, which it clearly does.  Those that deny this Biblical truth are performing a magic trick gone bad.

So my question as a Christian is how can someone be arrested for simply stating the ever-so-clear doctrines of the Biblical text which everyone knows has been around for centuries and  in a country that supposedly has "free speech" like the UK?   

It's because history repeats itself and we're witnessing this in the intolerance of Christ's Truth just like at the start of the church.   The further away from God any culture gets, the less tolerance for the TRUE Christian message even though that message is proclaimed in pure love and Christ-like honesty. 

Even in extreme political conservative corners we're seeing the compromising of absolute morality and seeing more and more conservatives buckling and folding on issues of abortion, homosexual marriage, etc.   

On the Bill O'Reilly show, he blasted the freedom of speech that allows Christians to proclaim God's Word of repentance ignorantly not understanding that this method of proclamation was the way The Christian message has been spread throughout the world.  Furthermore, it's how America has known its blessings as provided by God even today!

But even more ignorant and arrogantly, he stated that Christ nor the early Christians did not preach repentance in public.  In his research to write his book, "Killing Jesus", he obviously hop-scotched over the Bible, God's Word Itself.  So how well researched can his work be?  

I guess I won't be picking up that read anytime soon.  

The Word of God is a stumbling block against all manner of sin, and light is an offense to darkness.   Jesus said He came to give sight to the blind and to save that which is lost.  And today that continues through His Word.  If His Word isn't proclaimed, the rocks might start shouting!

How long is a lifetime?

The Bible states " It's appointed once to die and then the judgment" - Hebrews 9:27.

People die at a very old age, people die in the womb, and at every age in between, and for various causes.

Therefore, we are only a breath away from eternity.

Does it make sense to cover our eyes with our hand and deny the sunshine? Or is it rational to go through life putting off the thought of our appointment with death by drowning ourselves in the cares of this world?

How can we reconcile the powerful dichotomies of this existence like "life and death", "Good and evil", and not consider the only thing that can explain it - God?

The Bible is the only way to explain these things, explains who we are, and explains our relationship to the Creator.

Any other explanation of who we are, what is our purpose, and our relation to God is completely foundation-less and man-centered.

Humility and an honest heart will open the scriptures up to us through the Holy Spirit of God who reveals His Truth through the scriptures. Any other way to receive this knowledge from God is futile.

Jesus said "those that are on the side of truth listen to me"- John 18:37

God promises that if we seek Him with all our hearts and all our minds, we will find Him.

(Jeremiah 29:13,

Deuteronomy 4:29)

Finding Him means that we have found "the Way, the Truth, and the Life" (John 14:6).

"You shall know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free".

Free from what? Free from the slavery of SIN. All who sin are slaves of sin.

The minute we think we can stop, that's when we sin even more! What more proof can we have of our helplessness and fallen nature than not being able to stop sinning. We know what sin is, because our conscience tells us.

But when we trust and abide in Christ, God's Holy Spirit begins to work in our hearts and we experience God's promise of restoration. We gain new desires, new hopes, knowledge and wisdom through His Word and grace.

This is the supernatural work of God and not of our own strengths to change.

All to shape us into a NEW CREATION in Christ, eternally sealed for His purpose. This is truly the Good news!

Let us seek Him with all our hearts and minds while we still can!

The loss of Truth:

When we spend time with the ones we love, hold our children, behold the beauty of life, and consider meaning of it all, do we find comfort in the idea that we and everything we see around us are only a random chance accident in creation?  How often do you think this worldview will motivate any special endeavors we might have to getting a college degree, planning to get married, or starting a family?

What are the implications of this in terms of the meaning of life and how it impacts the individual and everyone we come in contact with?     Do you think it's honest to say that the human being can find meaning and appreciation in life, in love, in community knowing that none of this really matters if by the same set of circumstances what 'caused the mistake of our existence can just as well happen again towards our  nonexistence?

How honest can someone actually be when they say that they can appreciate their planet and neighbor when in fact, there's no moral code other than individual relativism that calls for what is truly right and wrong?

When there's no meaning to life, we're forced to find one and sometimes worst, we're forced to invent one.  Lets pray for the poor souls who in there scramble to make sense of it all are either misdirected or just plainly refuse to listed to God's voice calling us all to know Him and  fellowship with Him.

Only Jesus can fill in that void that was meant to be filled by a true relationship with Him.  This is where true peace and true joy is found.  No more guilt, no more confusion, and no more need to find oneself outside of what was meant for us from the foundations of time itself.

A prayer of thanksgiving

God's miraculous grace and blessings continue to rain upon us.

We've had recent and numerous bouts with severe colds and flus and a few trips to the ER with our boy, and just as our car breaks down as we pull up to our driveway, God's provision allowed us to get our whole radiator replaced less than 24 hrs later.

This among many blessings that we are witness to and so I thank The Lord on this His day of grace, mercy and hope.

Christians Divorce:

I'm so tired of this whole "Christians statistically divorce as much as non Christians" thing.

It's such a lie among all the other lies... 


This can also be said of abortion, lying, cheating on taxes, murder, etc.


You can't know what's true until you know who's "really" Christian, and that's not for man to judge but for God to judge.     Anyone can say " I'm Christian ".


Who owns a magic wand that can determine who is REALLY Christian and who isn't?  Only God determines who REALLY IS Christian. Some people still think we're a "Christian nation" and yet our leading politics is in support of hedonistic lifesytles considered abominations to God, and we sacrifice our own children in death and voilence through evil influence and abortion w/in our society!

That's not a Christian nation!


The True Christians are the one's that ARE NOT divorcing but how would one measure this just by taking a poll or asking a question? You can't test this anymore than you can own a "good person meter" or a magic wand.


ONLY God knows His remnent

There is a true church and a true people of God, and God knows who we are.

The world is far removed from being able to identify God's people because they obviously can't identify sin to begin with.


God forgives all sin but a true Christian knows in their heart the mandates of God and they know how it's of their benefit to obey and submit to those mandates and standards.   And so the true Christian obeys it  and falls in love with it because it's given to us by God for our own protection.


Although we once were people of divorce, we no longer are.
Although we once were people of lies, we no longer are.
Although we once were people of murder, we no longer are.

etc.,etc.


It's not about what we once were but what we are NOW and what we're becoming.



So when people try and drop that fake statistic on you, don't believe it.  It's a lie from the pit of Hell like many other lies.  

Heed the warning:

Heed the warning:

If the warning went out that those train tracks you usually stroll through are active, you'd best heed the warning.

You can say "No train has ever passed while I've been strolling here before".

OR you can cover your ears and dismiss the warning so as to not even think about it.

But whether or not the warning has any validity to it,  it still makes sense and is in ones best interest to search the validity to the claim, and then ponder the foundation on whatever action you'll decide to take on the matter.

Simply dismissing the warning is humanly illogical, irrational and not very wise.

And dismissing any warning without pondering the validity and establishing a foundation upon one's decision is a HUGE RISK to take.

" There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." - Proverbs 16:25

The Bible is full of inspirational information, guidance for life and promises.   But it's also full of warning.  Within every inspirational message and guidance lies an inherent warning against "doing the opposite".    For example when Jesus says "Be holy for your father in heaven is holy",  these words are inherantly warning against NOT being holy.  

But then you have the very direct warnings within the Bible that are intended for all people.   

"For the wages of sin is death..."- Romans 6:23

, 

"...for unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins.”- John 8:24

It might be that your conscience is sounding like an alarm within you, and you're sensing the warning.
Don't tune it out but instead, heed the warning.

"He heard the sound of the trumpet and did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But if he had taken warning, he would have saved his life." -  Ezekiel 33:5
