The end of a hateful heart: Osama Bin Laden

As we look and anylize the recent death of Bin Laden, we come to realize the symbol of what this means to us as Americans.

Indeed this man had to be stopped and it was a good thing that he finally was because it's only obvious that he wouldn't stop his gestures of hate nor would his hateful influence cease. The fact that we needed the closure after the hundreds of people he murdered only comes second in priority. But although his being stopped is a good symbol to Americans I'm sure we know that one gesture of justice (or revenge) can never squash deep rooted hatred. Real deep rooted hatred is a desease that has existed since the beginning of the world and will continue until God Himself intervenes and "makes all things new" - just like He promises in the Holy scriptures.

Througout recorded human history, we've seen real deep rooted hatred in the tyrants of the past like Hitler, Pol pot, Ivan the Terrible, Stalin, Idi Amin, Attila The Hun, etc, etc. Anything that generates enough callousness, or indifference towards human life is deep rooted hatred and a byproduct of real evil.
