Are you still an enemy of God??

"And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach— if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister."  - Colossians 1:21,22

"Don't be stupid, God is not mocked"...

Dear Christian, think about what it means to engage in collective humor concerning God and the Bible.

Sure enough, we've come across videos, posts on social media regarding humor meant to lighten people up.   Many times, religion or Christianity is the brunt of the jokes, and sometimes, the motive isn't even "intended" to be bad or insulting.

However, because of the culture we live in, superficial humor concerning God and the Bible should never be taken lightly. 

Unlike what we've seen with Muslim terrorists, no true Christian would ever find it within their place to physically lash out at any false characterization of God because God can defend Himself, and already has.   But it's improper to engage in superficial humor concerning God, Christianity and Christian doctrine because of the God-less culture we're living in. 

It's obvious that we're not living in a God-fearing culture but instead we're living in an ever-descending morality-stricken culture.   And since there is so much ignorance and denial of what is clearly taught in the Bible, to make light of ignorance or false characterizations of Christianity is literally to become one with God haters and deniers.   

Instead, we're supposed to be reaching out into the world to rip people apart from eternal darkness, and spreading the Gospel of Christ. 

Mockery of God in any extent is the opposite of bringing souls to Christ.  The Gospel is said to be "foolishness to those who are perishing", therefore, mocking Christianity is shooting oneself in the foot, and allowing your neighbor to chuckle their way into damnation. 

A "Christian" who aligns him/herself with people who mock God in any way takes lightly the blood Jesus shed on the cross for their depraved sins.  

There's nothing funny about an eternal life without God, and when we foolishly make light of God, we're lying about His true holiness, love for the world and we're helping those around us desensitize their hearts to God.    

God will hold us accountable.   Making light of God in any way defames Him, blasphemes Him, and demonstrates how we we ourselves hold God in our hearts.  


"Don't be fooled, God is not mocked; for whatever you sow, you'll also reap".

Truth, Ignorance and Fear...

Truth, Ignorance and Fear :

Kindness and love is of the Lord.  And the best way to understand and focus on that kindness, love and goodness is to make it part of our giving to others every day within our own personal lives.    It's commanded by The Lord, Jesus Christ, and central to the Christian faith.
 
But equally important, is not ignoring the reality of the evil that is before us.  Lets understand these things that are happening around us so that we can go before our God for Spiritual strength to deal with them. 

Ignoring evil won't make it go away. Singing out loud, turning the channel or commitments to happy and positive thinking won't either.


But understanding it, and preparing our hearts in The Lord will strengthen us so that we can in turn, prepare our loved ones.    Many times, Jesus told His disciples that He told and warned them of things to come in order that they be strengthened when it comes to pass.    In other words, if we have strong faith in our Lord who is in control of everything - even of the seas, sin and death... we will have our faith stirred up and strengthened knowing that what He warned us about is actually happening. 


There is a lot happening today that many refuse to present before their consciences but the results of denying these realities will have them suffering greatly when it impacts them directly and personally. 


But for all those who love the truth outside of their own self-interest and who are willing to submit to the Truth Jesus died to bring us, those are they that will able to discern right from wrong, and light from darkness.

The world is truly in chaos. 
What should we do with all the migrants that are coming from all those war-torn countries?   Some of which could very well be terrorists looking to access the west to gather, and plot more evil on our soil.  The evil of extreme Islam has scattered people away from their homes, and now the refugee problem is staggering.  Most countries are NOT prepared to deal with so many people, and their economies will be stressed to assist them.   How can we separate who is bent on harm from those who truly need humanitarian aid??

Can we trust our media:

We consider ourselves to be a free country, yet at the same time, I don't think anyone would argue against the popular criticism that Americans are very ignorant about what goes on outside of the US.     The only real way to know or have a better understanding of the world around us is through the internet - if one is determined enough to seek out this information. 

But for the majority of Americans, while we're extremely concerned with what we call "media" and "news", as well as entertainment and sports, ... there are things going on in the world that if we were made aware of could better educate us.   Having this wider knowledge would mature our opinions instead of keeping us boxed in a limited left/right political template. 

So then why is our international coverage in the media so limited?  Why are we so zoned in to entertainment and distractions in our daily lives?   Could it be that it's purposely constructed this way to sedate our convictions and passions on the issues regarding justice, truth, good and evil? Could it be that having a better understanding of international events and politics around the world could widen our sence of justice, truth and falsehoods with respect to how things are going here at home?

Could it be that while the world moves on to major and generational impactful life events, the "powers that be", want us sedated and hypnotized within our own individual boxes?

Think about it. 

Question: What percentage of truth within a theory does it take to create a "conspiracy theory"?        Asking questions won't make you crazy... but refusing knowledge will surely make you a do-do bird.   :)

But sadly, most people don't know that the pope himself, has NO power to forgive sins 
In fact, even sadder... most people don't know why they believe what they believe.  

And yet, all it takes to know what the Roman Catholic Church believes and teaches is by picking up any 'Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church' book at any public library.   You can order one for perhaps $2.00 on Amazon or find one in any used book shop.  

By doing just a bit of research into the religion that one has applied to ones life for the sake of ones soul, a person can learn what they believe and why.   A little research can teach a person about Roman Catholic History from its inception to how it entered ones own family, and why.  

The Bible states that,   

"For lack of knowledge my people perish".  - Hosea 4:6 

"There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death."

So how important is it to at least know what one truly believes about the major important things of ones life?  ( life, death, God, Heaven, Hell, Sin, Forgiveness, etc.)    

I think we would all agree that the saddest thing to see is a person unknowingly STUCK in any routine of bondage that leads to self destruction - whether physically or mentally.

My prayer is that all people of good conscience would stop and consider what they believe and why ... and continue to cultivate a hunger for the Truth.   Because if we're lovers of truth, and we continue searching with all our hearts and minds willing to submit to wherever that search takes us,   ... We can be lead there by God Himself.

Lets have honest - open heart prayer to God that He reveal His Truth to us, and that He open up His understanding, as His will would have it for His glory not ours.   Amen.

 A reporter and her camera man were fatally shot on live TV, and the depraved murderer later kills himself after he faxes suicide note to ABC news. 


All evidence points to an extremely angry and warped individual who complained of being discriminated against for being Black and "gay".  Reports say he had various problems with other past employers also.

But when they speak of this person in the media, the main thing you hear is always the same rhetoric about gun violence and mental illness.  Indeed, in this country there is a problem with gun violence and definitely issues with the mentally ill, but the problem here was way beyond that.  In this case, as is in most of these murder-suicide cases plaguing our nation (and the world), the issue no one wants to talk about is the increased loss of sanctity for human life.

And the increased depravity only rides on the waves of the consequence of gun violence and mental illness.  But you won't hear that in the media or in popular talk.  The only way to explain this is by deflecting the blame elsewhere.   These things become political extremely fast. 

This man stated in his suicide note that he planned this two months prior to the event when he acquired the gun and praised past murder-suicide killers calling one of them, "My boy".    This man was not mentally ill because he knew exactly what he was doing and planned it.

"What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.

You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”?  But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.  Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.  Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you."

Trump's Dump on Immigration:

Not that many think he's going to go "all the way" anyway...

but as an American citizen I am more concerned with the muck and mire this man is stirring up regarding his recent immigration plan for America.  Especially during a time when people are trying to prove that there is an out of control racial problem in the country.   

So far, the only evidence of a racial problem I'm seeing is a display of conflict happening in our inner-cities where people are trying to demonstrate that we're having race problems between Blacks and White law enforcement. 

Although, there is a problem in this regard (always has been), the cause of all this goes far beyond the black/white race issue the liberal media is trying to errect and sustain.  I believe it is more about the lack of jobs, the increased lawlessness, flawed politics, etc. in our neighborhoods, and it'll obviously fester and erupt more in the poorer communities first.   

But anyone who thinks that Trump's immigration plan is the most reasonable immigration plan out there, has probably stopped reasoning a very long time ago.

It's only because of our crazy fear of political correctness and compramised culture that we're even being entertained by Donald Trump.  

Who in their right mind would want such a "reality TV"- egocentric personality running the country?  And if he's that way now, imagine what he'll be like when he's president.

In fact, the 14th Amendment protects American citizenship, and he would have to eradicate it or amend it in order to legally strip citizenship.    Hasn't the right been complaining of our current presidential administration attacking and trying to eradicate the constitution??

The heart that can condone the dissemination of 12 million families demonstrates a hardness beyond measure.

It's the human sin nature on display when people take the extreme view of hating their neighbor who they don't know, can't idenfity with, and continue fighting not to uncover their Darwinian racial suppremacy that gives birth to prejudice.    

We live in a land that rips apart its babies, sells his/her body parts for profit; a land where we attack the moral and social institutions that God has given us for our own generational prosperity.  And according to many who are listening to Trump - a land where we strip citizenships from Americans just to get at their undocumented relatives.  All to ease their economical insecurities and fears.

The heart that could strip citizenships from people in order to rip apart 12 million families and kick them out of their own country is similar to the heart that could likewise strip the personhood away from a baby in the safety of his/her womb, and sell the body parts.   Why? ... Because it's equally an attack on their neighbor, and a stripping away of their personhood.

The best arguments I've heard for similar extreme immigration solutions appeal to a lot of sentimentality like... 

"My great grandfather came here with only a quarter and built New York City with his own teeth,...and he did it legally"... 

"Too many of them are criminals coming through the border"... 

"We can't afford to sustain all these illegal ailiens"...

Many of these do have some truth to them but NONE of them "Trumps", (pun intended) the reality of the greater evil and tragedy of an extreme immigration plan like that of the extreme right.   

 

Truth is, many proud and good standing Americans who are children of undocumented people are extremely valuable to our economy.  Many are professionals and tax--paying citizens, and the country would suffer to strip their citizenships and deport them.

Most undocumented people did not hop the border but over-stayed their visas, and our country has for decades allowed the breaking of the laws by both democrats and republican politics.  Only after our country experienced an economic hit did we then turn around and start picking on our lower income hardworking neighbors.  How messed up is that!

If we care so much about the breaking of laws, perhaps then we should punish ourselves for breaking our own immigration laws, waiving a juicy steak over a hungry man's face, and then hiring him illegally, so we can then separate  American families.

Not that it's okay to break the law, but two wrongs never make a right, and we need to discern when the pot is calling the kettle black.  

Our Christian leaders need to speak out about these things and stop hiding behind the old supposed politics/religion taboo.    When politics crosses truth, justice and morals, it enters the realm of religion. 

People need to know that it's not the true social conservative Christian stance that even entertains the thought of employing an extreme immigration view like that of Donald Trump's.

Lets lock down the whole border and enforce our laws moving foward.

We need real immigration reform that is economically viable, physically sensible, and morally right.  

Lets pray for our leaders, lets pray for America.

God's plan for Iran?

God's plan for Iran:

Why is our president aligning himself with pure ignorance despite obvious evil threats our nation has always faced  with Iran? 

 It's obvious that most people who are for this recent deal with Iran can only defend it via the insane  "A bad deal is better than no deal" mentality.   Whereas, those who actually parallel the historical threats of Iran with the contents of the actual deal can come to numerous points why this deal is an extremely bad deal.  

-Iran has stubbornly threatened and promised the inilation of Israel and America despite being heavily sanctioned economically for years agianst the internation community.   Even while the deal was in talks, Iran chanted ever so loudly, "Death to America"!!!

-Iran was still moving foward with its neuclear intentions regardless of when it was hurting economically and continues being the top sponsor of terrorism arount the world.

-Iran has never given a hint of waivering on its intentions to destroy its enemies in the past and gives little hope that they would after this agreement.

-Lifting economic sanctions by the US and the international community will only speed up the process of their wicked plans.

-The White House has attempted to jump over our constitutional process of passing this deal first through our congress by getting it approved by the United Nations.   

This will lock the international community from turning back on this agreement even if our future White House administration decides to rescind this flawd deal.

What an under-handed and lawless endeavor this is on getting the American people force-fed on this terrible nucear deal with Iran.

While the critics of our president continue to be perplexed by his many failed decisions and policies, there are many who are finally coming to grips with the fact that this is all willful ignorance on his part.   

The truly Spiritual person can see that there are indeed powers working here that can't be explained and why there are so many who just accept this man's leadership blindly like vunerable sheep to the slaughter. 

There are powers pulling on his strings to get his work done for the end of days.  Iran is a monster that is being unleashed upon the earth, and our president is like the Iranian leader has already illustrated when he posted an image of our president shooting himself:

The image shows our president putting up a gun to his own head about to commit suicide.  And if he shoots himself, guess who else dies?... We do!

But God has already spoken through His Word.

God uses evil for good, and His will be done!

To the unbeliever, the things of God are foolishness (1 Corinthians 2:14).  The Bible teaches that many will however receive deceptions and philosophies concocked by the imaginations of men that purposely steer them away from the truths that point to God bringing man to understand the glory, majasty, and beautiful life-sustaining purposes God.    The Bible states that because of the lack of love for the Truth, people will set themselves in the path of destruction.  

These will follow the passions that flow from their deceived hearts to their own peril and all we can do is try and divert them by giving them God's Word.

We must prepare our hearts at our homes and proclaim the good news of God's redemption in Christ Jesus our Lord.     

God says, He knows who are His, and these are the ones who will follow Him based on what He has already declared and made manifest.
