The loss of Truth:
When we spend time with the ones we love, hold our children, behold the beauty of life, and consider meaning of it all, do we find comfort in the idea that we and everything we see around us are only a random chance accident in creation? How often do you think this worldview will motivate any special endeavors we might have to getting a college degree, planning to get married, or starting a family?
What are the implications of this in terms of the meaning of life and how it impacts the individual and everyone we come in contact with? Do you think it's honest to say that the human being can find meaning and appreciation in life, in love, in community knowing that none of this really matters if by the same set of circumstances what 'caused the mistake of our existence can just as well happen again towards our nonexistence?
How honest can someone actually be when they say that they can appreciate their planet and neighbor when in fact, there's no moral code other than individual relativism that calls for what is truly right and wrong?

PASS THE SALT...
BATH SALT, that is!
Here's where man's desire to find a "new reality" or a new high takes them...
When there's no meaning to life, we're forced to find one and sometimes worst, we're forced to invent one. Lets pray for the poor souls who in there scramble to make sense of it all are either misdirected or just plainly refuse to listed to God's voice calling us all to know Him and fellowship with Him.
Only Jesus can fill in that void that was meant to be filled by a true relationship with Him. This is where true peace and true joy is found. No more guilt, no more confusion, and no more need to find oneself outside of what was meant for us from the foundations of time itself.

A prayer of thanksgiving
God's miraculous grace and blessings continue to rain upon us.
We've had recent and numerous bouts with severe colds and flus and a few trips to the ER with our boy, and just as our car breaks down as we pull up to our driveway, God's provision allowed us to get our whole radiator replaced less than 24 hrs later.
This among many blessings that we are witness to and so I thank The Lord on this His day of grace, mercy and hope.
